Plot Summary

Li Fong (played by Ben Wang) relocates from Beijing to New York City with his mother after a tragic event. Struggling to adapt to a new life, Li finds himself drawn back into conflict when he steps in to protect a friend—leading him to an underground karate tournament.

To prepare, he trains with Victor Lipani (Joshua Jackson), a former boxer with a troubled past. As Li embarks on his path of growth, two legendary mentors—Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) from the 2010 remake and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) from the original films—guide him in mastering both karate and life.
